Lidiar Group Welcomes Senior Associate Abhi Sodhani
Lidiar Group is delighted to welcome Abhi Sodhani to the organisation as Senior Associate. This role will see him lead the Group’s supply chain & procurement capability as we continue to invest in critical talent to support our clients’ major projects.
Joining Lidiar Group following a role as supply excellence manager for a major mining organisation, Abhi has extensive knowledge and a proven track record of identifying and delivering transformational opportunities within procurement and supply chain.
He provided leadership to the contract claims, purchasing, vendor, and rapid sourcing category team in this role. Abhi was also a procurement SME for a major ERP upgrade and delivered multiple projects in procurement governance, tackling critical commercial and ethical issues such as modern slavery. Before this, Abhi has worked as a supply chain lead for a Oil & Gas company and as a Senior Consultant for one of the Big 4.
Originally from India, Abhi migrated to Australia in 2006 to complete his studies at the University of Queensland. At UQ, Abhi won the $100K UQ Enterprize competition which provided a fantastic opportunity to join a Startup IT consulting business. From that foundation, Abhi worked in multiple industries in Energy and Resources (ENR), delivering projects in Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations.

There is always a huge demand from our clients in the Supply Chain & Procurement space, and my role will be to optimise and lead the current Supply Chain and Procurement Advisory Services as part of the overall project services offering.”

Abhi holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Queensland, is a Certified Scrum Master, and a Lean Six Sigma green belt.
When he is not supporting our clients, you will likely find Abhi spending time with his beautiful young family or exploring the deep blue sea as a certified scuba diver. With over 50 dives across the globe from the Bahamas to Indonesia to the Great Barrier Reef, Abhi is looking forward to taking a dip in more far-flung places in the future.
